Stop Surviving
and Start Living
Brenda's House of Hope is Farmington's first transitional supportive housing program, a structured community where men and women in recovery rebuild their lives alongside treatment, not apart from it.
Who We Serve
Brenda's House of Hope is Farmington's first and only transitional supportive housing program built for men and women who are serious about recovery
and ready to live in an environment that supports it.
We serve men 18 and older who are enrolled in the Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) at Cottonwood Pathways.
While treatment addresses the clinical side of recovery, we address the other 160 hours of the week.
We Provide:
Safe Housing
Daily Meals
Transportation
Hygiene Support
This is not a residential treatment facility. There are no nurses, no medical staff, no clinical supervision.
What there is here is community. A house full of people doing the same hard work, holding each other accountable,
and building something new — together.
Every need is met in Phase 1 so that energy can go where it belongs: recovery.
Our Core Services

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
Structured treatment that fits your life. Our IOP offers 9 hours per week of evidence-based therapy for substance use disorders and behavioral health conditions. You'll build recovery skills while maintaining work, school, or family commitments.

Adolescent Services
Specialized care for young people ages 13-18. We understand that adolescents face unique challenges. Our dedicated team provides age-appropriate outpatient counseling and IOP designed specifically for teens navigating mental health and substance use concerns.

Adult Outpatient Counseling
Individual therapy tailored to your needs. Whether you're addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use, our licensed clinicians provide compassionate, evidence-based care to support your mental health and recovery goals.

Specialized Treatment Modalities
We offer EMDR for trauma, DBT skills training, and other evidence-based approaches. Our clinicians are trained in cutting-edge therapies to address complex mental health needs and co-occurring disorders.

Clinical Laboratory Services
On-site drug testing including urinalysis and hair follicle analysis. We provide testing services for our clients and contract with courts, probation offices, and legal professionals throughout San Juan County.
Why it Works
Most folks leave treatment and return to the same neighborhood, the same relationships, the same triggers and wonder why recovery doesn't hold. The problem is rarely commitment. It's environment.
In other programs, folks go to nine hours of treatment per week — and spend the other 160 hours back in the same environment that broke them. We change that.
At Brenda's, recovery happens in the whole environment. IOP at Cottonwood Pathways integrates with daily fitness at Ironwood Gym, life skills classes, peer accountability, and weekly case management, all within a community where everyone around you is working toward the same thing.
Progress, not perfection, is the standard. Commitment is the requirement.
Three-Phase Journey
Phase 1:
Supportive Housing
(IOP Track) 4-6 months
All needs met: housing, meals, transportation, hygiene. Daily structure centered on IOP, fitness, and community while men and women establish the foundation of lasting recovery.
Phase 2:
On-Property Sober Living
Transitional step toward independence. Clients are 4–6 months sober, stepping toward self-sufficiency with a maintained curfew and ongoing accountability within the community.
Phase 3:
Extend Sober Living
Off-property, increased freedom, up to 9 people. Designed to bridge the gap between structured housing and full independence — stay as long as you need.
