Getting Started
Admissions
Who Is This For?
Brenda's House of Hope serves men and women 18 and older who are enrolled in, or preparing to enter, Intensive Outpatient Programming at Cottonwood Pathways.
Our clients come from detox, the court system, home environments that aren't sober-safe, and families who don't know where else to turn. What they have in common is this: a genuine commitment to change. That commitment is the requirement.
How To Apply
Step 1: Call or Be Referred
Referrals come from courts, probation officers, detox facilities, families, or the individual himself. Anyone can make the first call.
Step 2: Interview with Rickie
Every applicant meets with Rickie directly. This isn't a formality, it's how we assess readiness, fit, and genuine commitment. Honesty is welcome here.
Step 3: Coordinate IOP Enrollment
If the applicant isn't already enrolled at Cottonwood Pathways, we'll help coordinate intake. Housing and treatment work together.
Step 4: Move-in Orientation
Once accepted, residents receive a full orientation: house rules, daily schedule, expectations, and an introduction to the community.
What Makes Us Different
We're not your typical clinical setting. From day one, we've worked intentionally to maintain a warm, welcoming environment—the kind of place where people feel safe to be vulnerable and do the hard work recovery requires.
You'll notice the difference in:
Our People - Every member of our team is here for the right reasons. We've built a culture where caring is non-negotiable, and it shows.
Our Approach - We don't do cookie-cutter treatment. We look at each person individually and design care around your unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Our Network - We've created programs that address the whole person—clinical treatment, physical health, safe housing, community connection, and real-world skills.
Our Accountability - We're honest about what recovery takes, and we'll be with you every step of the way.

For Families
Your family members don't have to do this alone. And neither do you.
When a loved one enters Brenda's House of Hope, you get clarity: what the program looks like, what communication looks like, and what your role in their recovery can be. We support family reunification as part of the process because long-term recovery is often built on repaired relationships.
To refer a family member, call us directly.
For Courts & Referral Partners
Brenda's House of Hope is vetted by New Mexico state probation and recognized by local courts, including Judge Cole's Reset Program and Young Adult Program.
Referrals from probation officers and the court system can be made by contacting Rickie Agnetti directly. We support compliance tracking, court hearing coordination, and probation check-in reporting.
The program runs 4–6 months for Phase 1, with sober living options extending as long as needed.
FAQ
How do I apply or get referred?
Call us or have a caseworker, probation officer, family member, or treatment provider call on your behalf. All roads lead to an interview with Rickie.
Do I have to already be in IOP?
Not necessarily. If you're not yet enrolled, we'll help coordinate IOP intake at Cottonwood Pathways as part of the admissions process.
Can a family member apply on my behalf?
Yes. Family referrals are welcome. The individual will still need to go through the interview process.
Is there a waiting list?
It depends on capacity. Call us to find out current availability.
